23 January 2010 Boat Trip on the Perfume River ( Hue City - Viet Nam) with Asia Travel Land Co., Ltd. Mr Phuong was our guider on a pefume river cruise. He was informative and helpful, responding to the interests of our family, including young people aged 18, 14 and 11. Ana Mandara Villas Dalat comprises seventeen restored French-style villas from the 1920's and 1930's, preserving original design, décor and charm; and set in the cool climate of the rural highlands of Central Vietnam.

Sited on suburban parkland, the resort is complete with its original thoroughfare of Le Lai Street. Striking views of the surrounding town and countryside abound from all areas of the gently sloping hillside property.

Seventeen of the villas have been converted into 57 guest accommodations, with each villa comprising between three and five en-suited rooms. An individual kitchen for each villa, allows hosts to attend to all requests - from breakfast through to privately arranged in-villa dining.

Dining includes European inspired cuisine, a wine bar and walk in wine cellar, and offerings such as coffee and a baguette.
Six Senses Spa is a truly unique holistic experience. It consists of five treatment rooms, outdoor hot tubs, and aromatherapy produced by the resorts’ own flower garden.

Getting There Ho Chi Minh City - 250km Southwest of Dalat

Hanoi - 1400km North of Dalat

Danang - 650km Northeast of Dalat

Nha Trang - 180km East of Dalat

Lien Khuong, Dalat's domestic airport terminal is approximately a 30 minutes drive from the city centre. Current plans are afoot for Linh Khuong airport to be upgraded to international status by end 2005, accepting direct flights from Singapore and Hong Kong.

Ho Chi Minh City - to / from
Daily arrival & departure with Vietnam Airlines - approximately 45 minute flight time.
Four times daily bus transfers with Dalattoserco - approximately 6 hour journey.
Private vehicles by arrangement - approximately 5 to 6 hour journey.

Hanoi - to / from Four times weekly arrival & departure with Vietnam Airlines - approximately 110 minutes flight time.
Daily bus transfer - approximately 24 hour journey.
Private vehicles by arrangement.

Danang - to / from

No direct flight routes currently exist.
Three times daily bus transfers - approximately 13 hour journey.
Private vehicles by arrangement.

Nha Trang - to / from
No direct flight routes currently exist.
Daily bus transfers - approximately 5 hour journey.
Private vehicles by arrangement - approximately 3.5 to 4.5 hour journey.
A new road is planned for completion between Dalat & Nha Trang by early 2006. This road should see the travel time reduced to a 2 hour journey.
