Address: 7 Tran Phu Street, Da Lat City
Dalat, the City of Eternal Spring, has been renowned for its cool mountain breezes and elegant, relaxed atmosphere since the 1930s when it was a summer retreat for French and Vietnamese high society. Dalat today retains much of this splendour in its exquisite colonial architecture,of which the Mercure Dalat (previously Novotel) is a prime example. From this era Dalat has also retained the magnificent Dalat Palace Golf Course-a course originally built for the last Emperor of Vietnam,Bao Dai,and nowadays a fitting challenge for professionals and beginners alike. Soft adventure and eco-tourism activities are now the order of the day, including mountain biking through hilltribe villages,or touring organic flower and vegetable farms. Here one can truly enjoy the warmth of traditional Vietnamese hospitality taking in the stunning scenery or strolling local fresh markets. Ideally set above the town of Dalat, overlooking its many lakes and picturesque mountain scenery,Mercure Dalat (previously Novotel) is the smart accommodation choice for business and leisure travellers.Opened in 1932 as the Hotel Du Parc,it was restored to its original glory in 1995.Large bay windows in each of 140 rooms and suites allow plenty of natural light showcasing polished wood floors and stylish furniture.Modern in-room amenities ensure your complete comfort. Experience a taste of a 1950s-style French Brasserie at "Cafe de la Post".Menus of traditional French cuisine are prepared daily, showcasing the fresh produce of Dalat market. "Y Nhu Y" Vietnamese restaurant serves authentic dishes such as a delicious "Langbian" Vietnamese barbecue or a mouth-watering Seafood Steam Boat-just two of the many delectable special available.
